We're super excited to announce some big news for Solarc.

We now have our own fermentor permanently housed inside of Mumford Brewing in DTLA.

We will be brewing just about every batch of beer on Mumford's brewhouse, sending the wort to ferment in our fermentor which we named Nina Simone after the inspirational Jazz artist. Mumford will have at least one permanent Solarc beer on tap at all times. We're calling it a "pop-up brewery," although it's really more of a residency. Solarc is open whenever Mumford is open, and you can find us (Saul & Archie) there on a regular basis checking up on our most recent brew and hanging in the tasting room.

As many of you know, this is a huge step for us. As gypsy brewers it's been a real challenge to keep a regular schedule when hopping from brewery to brewery all across town to make our beer. With our own fermentor and a new consistent location in which to create beer, we are excited to focus on perfecting recipes, honing our brewing practices, and expanding our production capability. This new incarnation will be a stepping stone to Solarc's next phase of growth, opening our own space in the hopefully not-too-distant future.
